Letter from Leslie Levitt:

As many of you already know, we lost my husband and my children Alexa & Dylan’s father Eric Levitt approximately two and half years ago. Eric lived his life by working hard and playing hard. He gave more than 100% to those things that mattered most in his life, whether it be his family, close friends, his business that he built from the ground up, his golf game, tennis, etc. Tragically he died by suicide, which leaves an incredibly deep hole in our hearts. When one loses a loved one to suicide, the grief, the guilt and they “what ifs” are unimaginable. Eric was loved beyond measure, but clearly struggled with his own internal demons despite all of his personal relationships & successes.

This year, our family decided to change the charity of choice for the Eric Levitt GFY Memorial Classic. We know so many people have been impacted by the isolation, fear and anxiety caused by Covid these past 2+ years. We felt that the National Alliance on Mental Illness was the perfect organization to raise money for, and how fitting that our event falls during the month of May which happens to be mental health awareness month. NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. They work to educate, advocate, listen and lead to improve the lives of people with mental illness and their loved ones. Please consider making a tax deductible donation in memory of Eric. As always, we appreciate your love and support.

Love,
Leslie, Alexa & Dylan Levitt

You are cordially invited to the 3rd Annual Eric Levitt “GFY” Memorial Classic, a very special day celebrating the life and legacy of our dearly departed friend.

This year, we made the thoughtful decision to switch gears and support the wonderful organization NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness. If you’re unfamiliar, NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for millions of Americans affected by mental illness. These past couple of years have been trying on all of us and we believe the extreme generosity and support shown by you should go to this deserving organization and benefit all those in need. It’s timely and relevant to all of us. This year, like in years past, you will experience incredible first-rate golf, delicious food and a bounty of gifts & prizes. We will also once again be holding an online auction with world class golf, travel and special experience packages with all of the proceeds going straight to NAMI. The day promises to be filled with a tremendous amount of love, laughter and healing. We hope to raise a lot of money for all those dealing with mental illness in the process. We are thrilled to carry-on this very special tradition as we get set for The 3rd Annual Eric Levitt “GFY” Memorial Classic and bring together many of Eric’s nearest and dearest. We hope you can join us to make this event as fun and unforgettable as the man we are honoring.
