NAMI NEW JERSEY ADVOCACY ALERT

June 6, 2007

ACTION NEEDED

Let the Legislature and Governor Know that
You Oppose Medicaid Co-Pays

Send E-Mails TODAY!

Your help is needed to stop the imposition of prescription drug co-pays for people who receive Medicaid. Email (below) the Governor and members of the Assembly and Senate Budget Committees and let them know you do not want any Medicaid co-pays in the FY'08 budget.

Explain the negative affect that co-pays will have on people with mental illness who are poor and rely on medications to help keep them well.

Ask them to support the resolutions to eliminate the Medicaid co-pays from the budget.
