For 25 years, NAMI NJ has been passionately dedicated to
our mission of improving the lives of individuals and families
affected by mental illness.
We are guided by the goals of creating a responsive mental
health system that promotes wellness and recovery, early intervention
to minimize suffering from untreated mental illness, meaningful
support for caregivers and inclusiveness of diversity, and
NAMI NJ is proud of our leadership and achievements in providing
strong education and advocacy aimed at eliminating the unjust
stigma associated with mental illness.
The ongoing support we have provided for the Family-to-Family,
NAMI Basics and Ino our Own Voice Programs has enabled our
local affiliates to offer these education courses and presentations
free of charge.
We have come a long way, but there is much more work to be
done. Together, we can ensure a brighter future for all individuals
and families affected by mental illness.
During this time of economic hardship in our nation, resources
for non-profit organizations are considerably limited. We
ask you to help us meet the challenges ahead through your
generous donation.

As a NAMI NJ State member you will receive both state and
national newletters. There are four categories of supporters,
with equal significance:
• Individual Supporter ($30)
• Professional Supporter ($50)
• Organizational Supporter ($100)
• Limited Income State Supporter ($3 or whatever
you can afford)

registration on the NAMI national website,
you become a part of NAMI at the national, state, and local
levels. Member benefits include The Advocate Magazine,
member discounts, access to online member community on the
national website, and more.
